With only 2-3 images, our image recognition technology analyzes disease images generated by a smart phone camera. We harnesses computer vision, a technology that enables computers to identify and understand objects and people in images and videos. This technology enables the identification of specific patterns, anomalies, and visual cues indicative of diseases presenting on the skin and mucousa.
The AI-MD algorithm ensures the photo quality of pictures taken on your device are compatible for the algorithm chosen to analyze the disease.
With a brief 30-second face scan, AI-MD taps into cutting-edge remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology to gauge several essential health metrics.
Our rPPG measurement uses complementary metal oxide semiconductor hardware inside the cell phone to capture light reflected from a subject’s face, then analyzes it to measure changes in facial blood flow and predict heart rate variability (HRV). Various measures of HRV can reliably and accurately predict the metrics above.
By holding the phone to the forehead, AI-MD can measure body temperature using thermistor hardware inside the smartphone (i.e., the hardware inside the phone that gives temperature warnings in extreme hot or cold conditions).
